The merchants engaged in selling consumables to meet the daily needs of people and left the trade of precious commodities and jewelry to those who have ties to the caliph, his entourage, and the men of the state.
Makers They were living below the level of traders because their resources are limited was the average wage of the worker in the third century AH / ninth century dirhams and a half a day for the maker of glass and then increased in the fourth century AH / tenth century and revenues were shopkeepers no more than 300 dirhams a month.
