Libya has known the printed book for a long time - the Ottoman era - but the publishing industry in it was not clear or crystallized until the second half of the twentieth century, and despite the length of this period, monitoring of the book publishing movement in Libya did not have sufficient studies that could reveal Its reality and the nature of its various numerical, objective and linguistic trends, in addition to knowing the nature of its production in time and art, while studying the movement of printing and publishing legislations and the extent of their impact in this field .
