The growth of knowledge in the perspective of teaching by competencies is not done in a cumulative way but in a constructive way.
Therefore, the learner is called upon to reorganize his knowledge gains whenever a new knowledge element comes to be added to his previous balance and this reorganization is what is called integration.
Integration is the way in which multiple resources can be mobilized to solve a complex situation in daily life.
This is a way to determine whether a learner has a particular competency, and integration means making connections between learning so that complex positions can be solved by recruiting acquired knowledge and skills.
The pedagogy of integration is a pedagogy that induce the learner to collect and organize his acquisitions for use in complex situations, which are called integration situations.
It should be noted that integration remains impossible in the absence of a complex situation to be solved by the learner it is an internal and personal process that no one can integrate instead of the other.
