This research tackles the protection of copyrights for Attorneys’ work-products.

The scope of this research covers contracts and their copyright.

The contract is considered as the most important means of financial transactions; the rights and obligations of this type of contract govern the process of its execution.

It is the only reference to consider to resolve any dispute over its articles.

Accordingly, the importance of drafting the contract and its articles is not less important than its articles in resolving those disputes that arise between the parties.

The formulation of this type of contract has rules and principles in relation to language, the type of obligations it includes, and the content of contract and its aim.

It is also of a great necessity that the contract matches the regulations, instructions and laws.

All this requires skill and experience that are only owned by a graduate of law.

The research showed that the efforts exerted by the drafter and his creative style in writing the articles of the contract are sufficient to have the author entitled to copyright.

It is not allowable by the law that the third party take the model of the contract and use it for their own purposes unless they make changes on it or a written notice of the first author who drafted the original contract.
