Abstract EN

This article is aiming at treating the phenomenon of the negritude in the Sudanese poetry according to the cultural and critical view, which attempts to reveal the hidden cultural systems in the“Fitouri, s “texts.

Since the term negritude is a cultural system contrasts with the culture of weakness and underestimationof the Negroesethnic races; Both slavery and enslavement are cultural dominant mods and systems on the human thought and behavior from the outset ,what made Fitouri‘s poetry analogous with that ofAntara ben Chaddad in his relationship within his tribe ,the same with the Latin American authors such as Emyceasar in their opposition to the discrimination .

Cultural criticism concerned with the implicitconcepts via imagery and allegory to reveal theintricacy not only in poetry but in the culture as a whole.

To restore negritude identity requires rebuilding the corrupted cultural aspects andfinding the flaws hidden in the Sudanese society.
