Abstract EN

The first aim of this study was to recognize the level of logical thinking to the children.

The second aim was to recognize the factorial structure of piaget’s tasks in logical thinking.

The tasks consisted of (18) sentences containing conjunctions such as “because” “if’ and “although” which had to be completed by 75 girls and 75 boys in primary schools and intermediate schools at Baghdad.

The age is between ten and fourteen years.

When analyzing the results, it is shown that the logical-lingual thinking to the sample of children is contest to piaget taxonomy to the phonomena.

The result showed five factors in logical thinking and showed a strong support to piaget’s classification of the construction of logical thinking.
