The duration of larval instars of cabbage large butterfly was determined.

the duration of the first four instars was about four days each, while the duration of the fifth larval instar was seven days.

The total larval development period was 24 days.

The weight of larva instars was also determined.

The study recorded some endoparasitic species on the Pieris brassicae L.

larvae in different regions of the Syrian Coast between 1995 and 1996, and parasitism (%) reached 76% of total existed endoparasitoid species which are Apanteles (Cotesia) glomeratus, Hyposoter sp, compsilura sp.

Also, we noticed that the parasitoid Apanteles glomeratus was the most widely spread followed by the parasitoid Hyposoter sp in the two regions studied (Banyas, and Bouka).

The differences in parasitism level of endoparasitoides and the suggestions which might lead to increase their effectiveness were discussed.
