فاعلية تدريس إستراتيجية دورة التعلم الخماسية (5ES)‎ على تنمية مهارات التفكير في العلوم لدى طلاب الصف الثامن الأساسي في الأردن

Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to determine effectiveness of teaching the 5th learning cycle strategy (5ES) in improving thinking skills in science among the 8th grade students in Jordan.

The study and the test of thinking skills exame includes (37) paragraphs that was applied on a sample of (60) students from the 8 th basic grade in Amman-Jordan schools, randomly distributed into two groups, (30) students in each group.

(1) as experimental group was taught according to the learning cycle strategy, and (2) as controlled group taught in a traditional way.The results of the study showed there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05=α) between the average of the two groups, experimental and controlled in thinking skills as a whole.

And in each sub-skill of thinking skills in favor of the experimental group.The study recommended using the the 5th learning cycle strategy in teaching science as will as training teachers about its axes in developing the thinking skills
