Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the impact of MIS (application requirements, reduction of organizational constraints, and support decision) on the quality of the administrative decision making process (diagnosis of the problem, finding alternative solutions, implementation and follow-up of the decision, and evaluation of results) in Jordanian banks from the point of view of the decision makers.

The study was used by the managers of the Jordanian banks operating in Amman and its branches, which numbered (560).

An appropriate sample was taken from the study society, which numbered 260 managers of branches of the working banks in Amman.

The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The requirements of applying administrative information systems, and the role of administrative information systems in reducing the organizational obstacles in Jordanian banks.

The results indicated that there is an impact of management information systems (application requirements, decision support, and reduction of organizational constraints) on the quality of the administrative decision making industry (diagnosis of the problem, finding alternative solutions, implementation and follow-up of the decision, the results (α≤ 0.05) in Jordanian banks are from the point of view of the decision makers.

The study recommended intensifying training courses for decision makers in order to keep abreast of developments in administrative information systems and to implement studies to identify the obstacles of applying administrative information systems in Jordanian banks.
