Abstract EN

The study aimed at testing application of The five factors theory on convicted male offenders in the Jordanian reform centers.

The study population consists of all male offenders in the Jordanian reform centers (21,117).

The researcher improved a questionnaire which was distributed to a sample of (520) convicted offenders in the Jordanian reform centers.

The sample was deliberately chosen because the study does not seek to generalize the results and study the actual criminal behavior, it seeks mainly to test the specific theory mentioned before.

The convicted criminals were selected from the male, reform center.

A total of (550) questionnaires distributed, (530) of them were retrieved.

(10) questionnaires were excluded because they were not valid for the analysis due to the incomplete majority of the questionnaires.

After conducting the statistical analysis, it was found That the majority of the criminals surveyed in the current study are those with income (200-399) and 44.8%.

the results Shows that there is a relationship between purity and committing the person to the various crimes.

The study recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which is: the need to provide humanitarian initiatives targeting criminals in reform centers to achieve social integration as part of human security.
