Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify The Obstacles of Using Science Laboratory in Teaching Earth and Environmental Science subject from the perspective of Teachers.

The researcher use descriptive approach, the tool of the study represented by questionnaire.

The study sample included (32) male and female teachers, in educational Directorate schools in Irbid province, the results of the study showed the following: 1.

The obstacles came within the middle-grade, and for the dimensions came the obstacles related to the laboratory supervisors in the first place and medium degree, followed by the obstacles of students in a medium degree, in the third place came the obstacles related to teachers in a medium degree, and the obstacles related to the laboratory hall and requirements came last and moderately.

There is statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) between the estimates of the study sample for using science laboratory in general and in teacher dimension due to the number of years of service, there is no statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) in all dimensions except laboratory technician dimension, due to the gender, and there is no statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) due to the qualification.
