Abstract EN

This study aimed to dicover the level of achievement motivation and its relationship with the strategic intelligence among students from King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia and to explore the effect of variables (gender and study level) on achievement motivation and strategic intelligence.

The study sample consisted of (684) students studying at different levels for the academic year (2017/2018).

To achieve the objectives of the study the researcher built achievement motivation scale, which consists of (40) items, strategic intelligence scale, which consitts of (40) items, the researcher guaranteed the scales validity and reliability.

The results of the study revealed that the level of achievement motivation and strategic intelligence were high among the students of King Faisal University, there is a high correlation between achievement motivation and strategic intelligence, there is an effect of gender and study level on the achievement motivation in favor to females and sixth level, and there are no effect of gender and the level of study on strategic intelligence.

In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended faculty members to adopt of teaching methods that promote motivation achievement and develop the strategic intelligence.
