The responsibility of the Islamic media has increased due to the foreign media campaigns launched by multiple cultures from all over the world.
Therefore, several calls for renewing the Islamic speeches presented by Muslim Preachers in the entire mosques all over the country and through the different media means have emerged.
Thus, the study problem is represented in exploring the Attitudes of Muslim Preachers towards the Islamic speeches via Islamic television channels and newspapers, and to discover if these speeches address the modern challenges and achieve their desired gratification by investigating the content of these speeches.
The current study is a descriptive and an analytical study which uses the media survey method and the correlation study method.
The field survey is conducted by using a questionnaire distributed to 200 Muslim Preachers in the Mosques of Dakahlia and Menofia Govemorates.
The study concluded some substantial findings; such as: 66% of Muslim Preachers occasionally watch the Islamic speeches/programs, while 32% always do.
Al- Rahma Channel came first among the favorite TV Channel most watched by the Preachers; w'hile Al-Azhar Newspaper came first among the favorite newspapers read by them.
The study also indicated no significant differences between the rural and urban areas with regard to the gratification achieved by the content of the Islamic speeches via Islamic television channels and newspapers.
Also there are no significant differences among different age categories with regard to their exposure motives to the media channels and newspapers.
