Abstract EN

The appearance and happening of Friday and Eid may take place in one day in some years.

this matter happened at the time of the prophet Mohammed peace be upon him, also it may happens in our era.

so many proofs from the Qur'an and traditions of the prophet Mohammed piece be upon him supported this issue, and so many scholars discuss this issue in the past its rules, regulations and its time.

i clarify the opinions of scholars and the present.

in this research paper i defined the term “Friday” and about its time.

then i did the same for Eid.

i clarify the opinion of scholars on the rules of merging Eid and Friday in one day.

the Hanabilah sought who so ever pray Eid not required to pray Friday (Juma’a) except the Immam.

furthermore, some do not required the Immam of praying it.

then i clarify the opinion of al- Hanafeyyah, al-Malikeyyah, and Ibn Hazm whom say Friday prayer is a must for the ones whom pray Eid.

then i clarify the Shaf’i on this matter.

after i reviewed the proofs of each school of thought ; i reached the decision stated that Friday prayer is a must on the inhabitants of cities and towns and villages but the inhabitants of mountains and deserts are excused because of hardship may apply to them if them if we demanded them to pray Friday and Eid on the same day.
