Neutral Zone, which was located in southern Iraq, is a desert land called in political term of the (Frontiers), has been on the maps for (60) years, until it was agreed between Iraq and Saudi Arabia to divide it evenly, where the northern section became part of Iraq and the southern section became part of Saudi Arabia.

The aim of the research is to focus on this area in terms of the treaties that led to its formation in 1922 and the treaties that led to its division in 1975 and 1981.

The research also dealt with the geographical characteristics of the region in terms of landform, wells and climate.

The research also dealt with the findings of the division of the territory between the two countries.
