Abstract EN

This study aimed to determine The degree of practice the general managers in the Ministry of Education -generla education- for participative leadership from the viewpoint of administrative leaders.

The study also aimed to detect differences in the degree of practice the general managers for participative leadership attributable to the variables: ( sex, current work, educational qualification, the duration of experience in administrative work, training courses in the field of educational leadership).

The study population consisted of all administrative leadership in general departments at the Ministry of Education- general education-.

The study found the following results: The overall average of the degree of practice the general managers for participative leadership has a 3.32 falls in the third category, which refers to the degree of medium practice option.

The order of the fields of the questionnaire came as following: human relations with a mean 3.38, followed by the area of decision-making with a mean 3.37, authorization with a mean 3.36, then the field of organization with a mean 3.34, came in fifth and sixth place respectively planning and stimulation with a mean 3.28 and 3.

There were no statistically significant differences between the mean of individuals of the study in the degree of the practice of general managers due to the variables of the study.
