Abstract EN

Security has become very important aspect during data transmission and storage.

Cryptography is used to maintain security.

Columnar Transportation Technique is one of the most common methods that used in image encryption.

In this paper, we proposed an encryption technique based on columnar Transportation and bits reversing, and named the method (CTR).

Different colored images are used in the experiments.

Experimental results showed that the proposed method is a secure and effective as a color image encryption method.
