Abstract EN

The present study aims at revealing job satisfaction and its relation to the performance of vocational education in special education schools in the special education schools in Ismailia governorate, represented in the schools of (intellectual disability - hearing disability - visual disability).

The sample of the study included (60) teachers and (20) (20) from the School of the Deaf, (20) from the School of the Blind, and the tools of study were applied to them, namely the scale of job satisfaction of the teachers of special education for Hafni Hanafi (2011), and the professional performance measure prepared by the researcher.

The study provides that: 1 - There is a significant positive correlation between the functional satisfaction and the professional performance of the sample members of the special education teachers.

2 - There are differences of statistical significance in the professional performance of the teachers of the deaf and blind schools and the intellectual disability and integration for the teachers of the school integration.

3 - The satisfaction of the professional teachers of special education can be predicted through the study of their professional performance.

The results of the study showed that there is a positive correlation between job satisfaction and professional performance among the sample of the special education teachers.

The professional performance of the teachers of the education of the integration schools was better than the other schools due to their dealing with ordinary people and their sense of being one entity.
