Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the relationship between future anxiety and quality of life in diabetic patients of the second type.

The comparative descriptive approach was used.

The sample consisted of (20) individuals.

The questionnaire was applied to the personal data and the measures of future concern and quality of life.

Data were processed using the following statistical methods: arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, T test, and variance analysis, where the research reached the following results: 1 - There is no correlation between future anxiety and quality of life in patients with diabetes type II.

2 - There are significant differences between male and female patients of type II diabetes in the future anxiety and the quality of life for females.

4 - There are not differences of statistical significance among patients of type II diabetes according to the division of the disease (Less than one year - from 5 years to 5-10 years) in the future anxiety and the quality of life .
