over the past years, Iraq has witnessed a series of wars and crises led to many political, economic and social consequences on the State and people, within these consequences the outcomes of the military operations of the first and second Gulf war and late on the occupation of Iraqi territory by Us and allied forces on the wake of downfall the former regime and many official institutions then loss of security control over large parts of Iraq'sterritoriesand land due to exploit these conditions by the terrorism, crime groupsthose whom committed a series of violations and crimes against the Iraqi people and the Iraqi State public propertyat various stages in the recent history of Iraq, within these violationsthe cultural and religious cities represented by temples, shrines and churches dating back to the many ages ago that have long been constituted a cultural memory of Iraq and its people and impressed historians and researchers in the field of civilization and relics.

This research comes to trace a black era passed by Iraq causing of loss a lot of these properties because of the acts of destruction, theft and burning some of them by extremist crime organizations oriented by external parties and supported also by some of internal bodies that believed in extremist thought and motivated by greed, revulsion and hatred feeling aimed to.

In other sections, the research dealt with the manifestations of aggression caused by terrorist groups (Daásh) on sites that were classified as civilized sites in Iraq, in addition to what has happened to the historical places of worship of various religions belonging to nations and peoples that alternated on the construction of different civilizations in Mesopotamia
