Abstract EN

The most important thing that separates Shia religion from other Islamic religions is belief in Imamate.

This concept has been widely reflected in the poetry of contemporary poets.

considering that the belief in Imamate is the main difference between the Shi'a and the rest of the Islamic religions, its reflection in poet's poetry can express his belief and faith in the school of Ahl al-Bayt.

However, the poets can not be classified at the same level.

In this paper, we used a descriptive-analytic method and tried to examine the meaning of Imamate in contemporary poets' poetry and how they were understood by this concept.

And we came to some conclusions that the level of contemporary poets' understanding of the concept of Imamate varies, depending on how much each poet knows about the concept of Imamate.

Therefore, it is clear that the Shiite faith has several levels, according to which contemporary poets can be categorized according to what is stated in their poems.
