Abstract EN

The aim of this paper is to study the distribution of recreational service in Al-Khader city to identify the types of services currently available and their efficiency with the requirements of the population in the city and to propose a redistribution of services in proportion with the approved planning standards for this service, Resources available.

The descriptive approach and the analytic approach were used in the research to analyze the data and to identify the nature of the distribution of services using the tools of spatial analysis (the neighbor's closest neighbor) and (standard distance) using geographic information systems (GIS).

The lack of recreational services does not correspond to the space required to serve the population in addition to neglect of many of the recreational facilities in the city and by passing the green areas.
