The Iranian researcher "Shahabuddin Mahdawi" wrote a paper entitled "David Hume and his Application of the Experimental Approach to Philosophy: a Study of the Principle of Causation as a Model," highlighting the process of Hume's projection of the experimental approach onto philosophy, where Hume considered that the external necessity is not something that can be traced back to the impression, and he explained in the principle of causation that it is an emerging mental necessity based on the law of association.
