This study aimed to determine the relation of assertive behavior with bullying in primary school students, as well as to identify the differences between male and female in assertive behavior and bullying, and what are the dimensions of assertive behavior that foretell bullying and fall victim to it in primary school students .This study was conducted on (160) students (82 males / 78 females) from the fourth, fifth, and sixth primary grades from three primary schools affiliated with the Eastern Zagazig Educational Administration.

They completed scale of bullying victims (Prepared by Taha Rabee Adawi, 2014) and the Assertiveness Behavior Scale (translation to Arabic by the researcher).

The results of the study showed a negative correlation with statistically significant between assertive behavior and bullying in primary school students in the dimension of self-expression and the dimensions of sexual, physical and verbal bullying as well as the overall degree, and the absence of a significant correlation between the dimension of respect for others and the dimensions of sexual, interpersonal, physical and verbal bullying as well as the total score., there were statistically significant differences between males and females in the assertiveness behavior level in favor of females at the significance level of 01,.

This means that assertiveness is higher for females than for males.

And the presence of statistically significant differences at the significance level 01,.

Among males and females in bullying in favor of males, .The results also showed that after self-expression it is the only one that predicts bullying and victimization among primary school students.

The study recommends that attention should be directed towards providing instructional and selective programs to educate primary school students about bullying and the risks of falling victim to it, especially among males, as well as making programs to build assertiveness and self-confidence with them.
