Many Islamic texts have emphasized the ultimate intention of zakat, its aims and effects.

That is why Zakat is the first legislation in Islam to organize social security and social insurance.

Islam has prescribed Zakat to regulate people's lives, to achieve greater security and stability, to strengthen social cohesion and economic development, and to deepen spiritual values and moral and educational meanings in the perpetual movement of individuals and communities.

Throughout this research, we discuss the dimensions of zakat within the context of Algerian zakat fund.

We demonstrate social aspects of Zakat and answer the question of how it is collected spent.
