Abstract EN

The current study aims at identifying the psychometric properties of the scale of engagement among the preparatory school students.

The sample consists of (500) preparatory students; (250) males, (250) females.

The scale of engagement was built on the basis of polling the opinions of a sample of preparatory school students and reviewing the previous studies and the theoretical background of the subject.

The results show that the level of engagement among the preparatory school students is higher than the average.

This indicates that the preparatory school students have the characteristic of engagement.

The apparent validity of the scale has been confirmed through consulting a group of experts.

As far as the reliability is concerned, all the scale items are proved to be statistically significant.

As for the stability, it is calculated by using the application and re-application method.

The correlation coefficient is calculated to be (0.876).

The Alpha Kronbach value of the stability coefficient is (0.888), hence all the data is verified with statistical indicators.
