Abstract EN

The Ottoman state had occupied vast areas in the three continents Asia, Europe and Africa.

It was well known that, the Ottoman state was the first Class military state, as it was in need of great deal of money s» as to answer the necessities of arming, training, supplying the armies and running the soldiers affairs, besides constructing their developmental schemes.

The Ottoman state saw that, the only source for providing state s treasury with money, is collcting taxes.

Therefore the state had given taxes a great attention in addition to the farming lands, so it had destributed the farming lands in a way to extend the taxes sources.

The research has discussed the farming lands in the Ottoman state demonstrating the types of lands and theit connection to both the administrative and taxes systems of the state.

The researcher also has investigated the kinds of taxes in the Ottoman state and the ways of their collecting besides* their quantities .The various regional collector*, responsibilities are also discussed in a mere historical viewpoints.
