Abstract EN

This study aims to select the best model for managing the spare parts inventory and determining the contribution of the best model in achieving the competitive priorities of the Iraqi Drilling Company.

The study addressed the problem of the weakness of the efficiency and effectiveness of the plans for the management of spare parts, which did not take into account the coordination and integration between the network of sensitive parts associated with the management of spare parts, namely (leadership (senior management), organizational structure, organizational culture, information system, maintenance operations.

The structured interview was the main tool in collecting the study data.

The AHP method was used to analyze the obtained data which consists of (10) experts.

The study reached to a number of conclusions in the light of the results of the study, the most important one is that the best model to manage the spare parts, which is appropriate to the working conditions of the trap is the balanced technical.
