This study aims at showing the relationship between dietary fats and Atherosclerosis disease.
Also it aims at increasing the awareness of protection from this disease and prevention methods.
This study was carried out on a sample of (30) patients.
This sample was selected randomly from Cardiovascular Centre Disease and Peoples Education Hospital.
Then the data of this research was collected by using a questionnaire filled by the researcher by personal interview with the patients.
The researcher used the statistical package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program.
The study has shown that there is a significant relationship between cholestrol and occurrence of Atherosclerosis disease.
Although Cholestrol is not the only factor, but it is an important one.
Also there are other factors that help the increase of Cholesterol and increase the occurrence of disease.
Other factors are : lack of sport practice, smoking, ten$ion, whole skimmed milk, eggs,hypertension disease and diabetes mellitus.
