Abstract EN

The issue of family planning is one of the topics that are directly related to reproductive health, and the use of contraception has an impact on the fertility of women and thus will affect the size of the family and the size of the population in general.

The main objective of this article is to highlight the relationship between Algerian women and the use of contraception, to find out the main reasons that lead Algerian women to resort to it, and what is the preferred means.

And the study of this phenomenon through the multiplicity of specificities of age, level of study and profession.

And determine the role of the family, society and religion in decision-making for the use of contraception.
