بعد نيسان عام 2003 دخل العراق تجربة او مرحلة سياسية و دستورية جديدة تجسدت بصدور دستور العراق النافذ لعام 2005، و الذي اعتمد النظام البرلماني وذلك حسب ما نصت عليه المادة (1) من الدستور على ان: "(جمهورية العراق دولة اتحادية موحدة مستقلة ذلت سيادة كاملة نظام الحكم فيها جمهوري نيابي.

(The parliamentary authorities according to the constitution of 2005)After April 2003, Iraq has witnessed a new political and constitutional period.
It has been represented by issuing of Iraqi constitution of 2005 that rely on parliamentary system according to the articale (1).
