Abstract EN

The current study aims to recognize the extent of application of management by objectives at the sport federations for mass games in Yemen in addition to the recognition of variations at the extent of application of management by objectives as per the variables ( type of game , experience and scientific qualification).

The study sample composed of 94 administrative .

The researcher used a descriptive method in addition to questionnaire to collect data within four components (objectives identification , setting up a practical plan , periodical review and annual achievement evaluation ) .

the arithmetical averages , standard deviations , T-test and One Way ANOVA were used as statistical methods to process data .

The results showed that the sport federations for mass games in Yemen apply the standard of management by objectives in a high degree on all components in exclusion of annual achievement evaluation with a moderate degree .

The results showed statistical significance between basket ball federation and volley ball federation in the degree of application of management by objectives according to the variable of game type on all components for the favor of basket ball federation except annual achievement evaluation component for the favor of volley ball federation .

the scientific qualification has no impact with statistical significance .

In terms of experience ,the results showed that the there are differences with statistical significance on the component of setting up a practical plan for the favor of more experience years ( over 10 years ) .

the researcher recommends to generalize the application of management by objective standard at the Yemen sport federations and providing administrative with data on this standard and other administrative standards
