Abstract EN

This study sought to reveal the effectiveness of distance learning compared to direct education in the achievement of first year secondary students in the Arabic language course in Jordan, and to achieve this goal, a group of (35) students from the Jabah Secondary School for Boys for the academic year 2020 CE were compared, by comparing their achievement In the subject language in the first and second semesters, and after conducting statistical methods with data, the results indicated that the direct teaching method is compatible, compared to distance learning in the achievement of the study sample individuals.

In light of these results, the researcher recommended the need to adopt the use of blended learning method by merging the traditional and electronic method in teaching the Arabic language research and the need to redesign the educational content in a manner consistent with the principle of distance learning.
