Abstract EN

The problems that the environment knows in the Algerian desert regions that are represented in the Tamanghasset city model, as well as the problem of environmental awareness in it, will be a topic and a field for our research.

In order to study and analyse this research we will use an interdisciplinary approach between a specialty that combines the sociological and the ecological, and this in order to determine the various dimensions and indicators associated with that.

The field of research, then, is the Algerian desert regions represented in the model of Tamanghasset region, which is located geographically in the far south of Algeria.

It has extended borders with some countries of the African coast.

It is seated on an area that is about a quarter of the country's area, and is characterized by a semi-desert climate, with vegetation and a climate that differs somewhat from the rest of the regions of Algeria, and is very similar to the climate of the Sahel states.

This ecological diversity made the region the most significant one human and animal, but the human being as a harmful object negatively affected the equation of the environment, although the heritage of the local community in the region is rich in its traditional customs and systems in a way that preserves the environment, in addition to all these, migrations and population mobility as well as French nuclear experiments in the Tamanghasset regions formed a direct cause of losing the region's environmental balance.

In order to reveal all this, this work comes to discuss and track environmental problems and the problem of environmental awareness in this region.
