This study is intended to illustrate the reality of the movement witnessed by the independent trade union organizations in the education sector in Algeria.

The union is a modern phenomenon according to the western concept and its members are teachers, most of whom are conservative in the traditional values of society.

In addition, the CNAPESTE union has been suffering from emptying its space of trade union officers in the context of pre-ret irement, in contrast to the strong presence of women in educational institutions.
