The post-Cold War era witnessed the signing of a number of peace agreements that were more than ever signed since the end of the Second World War.

This coincided with the spread of democratic regimes (the so-called third wave of democracy, Samuel Huntington) Turning to the theory of democratic peace as a mechanism for achieving sustainable peace both at the international level and at the national level, and to answer the following problem : How influential is the theory of democratic peace in achieving sustainable peace? The first axis deals with the conceptual framework of the study (democratic peace and sustainable peace).

The second axis deals with the relationship between the two variables.

The third axis is the attempt to evaluate the theory of democratic peace in achieving sustainable peace.
