تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى دراسة العلاقة بين سعر النفط الخام (بالدولار الأمريكي للبرميل) و سعر الصرف الدينار الليبي مقابل الدولار الأمريكي للفترة (1995-2017) أظهرت نتائج الاختبارات القياسية على عدم وجود علاقة طويلة المدى بين سعر النفط الخام و سعر الصرف للدولار الأمريكي في حين أن العلاقة التي تحدث هي فقط على المدى القصير و بشكل ضئيل جدا و ما يثبت صحة ذلك أظهرت نتيجة اختبار جرانجر السببية أنه لا يوجد أي سببية في المدى قصير بين سعر النفط الخام و سعر الصرف
Abstract EN
ـــ The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the price of crude oil (in USD per barrel) and the US exchange rate against the Libyan dinar for the period (1995-2017).
The analysis is performed by Johansen cointegration, Granger causality tests and vector autoregressive model.
The results show that there is no long-term relationship between the crude oil price and the USD /LD exchange rate, while the relationship that happens is only in short-term one, However, Granger causality test result has showed there was none causality between the crude oil price and the USD /LD exchange rate.
