Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to show the correlation between the trends of primary school teachers toward the based competency approach and their job satisfaction, this study is based on the following hypothesis: General hypothesis: there is a correlation between the primary school teacher’s trends toward the based- competency-approach and their job satisfaction.

The sample’s study is composed of 30 individuals representing all the teachers of BounarEssaadi school as a model, and the results of this study are the following: -The level of job satisfaction for the primary school teachers is low.

-The trends of primary school teachers toward based-competency approach is negative and There are not significant differences on the trends of primary school teachers according to sex variable.

- There are not significant differences on the job satisfaction for primary school teachers according to sex variable and There is a positive but weak significant correlation between the trends of primary school teachers and their level of job satisfaction.
