Abstract EN

The study aimed to know diabetes (type I) and its impact on self-esteem and academic achievement, to reach this goal we used the clinical approach, On a sample of three cases suffering from diabetes (type I) subject to insulin.

To collect the data we used (case study, clinical interview and scientific observation), in addition to Cooper Smith's self-assessment measure (Test), and relying on school results for the second semester of 2017/2018.

The results of the study that the cases (our research sample) with diabetes (type I) negatively affect their psychological development, emotional, behavioral and cognitive, As well as affect the structure of self-esteem they have, which reflected negatively on their academic and their performance and cognitive achievement within and outside the classroom.
