This studyfocused on social mobilitythrough the index of protestmovements and itsrelationship to the development of the city of Ouargla, by focusing on the content of banners and slogans posted as a message adopted by protesters.

The studyraisedseveral questions related to the objectives of the protesting group, the extent to whichthey use the variousmethods of protest, and theirrelationship to employment and development as far as the desired goals of the protestinggroups.

The studyalso has come to the conclusion that the employment record is the main driver of the protests, as workers 'and employees' groups are alsolooking to find jobs in big national and international companies.

The studyalsotackled the phenomenon of sewage and lack of water supplies as the second driving force behind the protestswhile the interference of otherdevelopmentsectors are said tolessen the severity of the demands and overcome the protestsaroundthem.

The studyalsopresented suggestions thatwould help orb and reduce the protestmovements in Ouargla.
