The study aimed to identify the teachers 'estimates of the degree of emotional intelligence administrators in secondary schools in Gaza governorates.

The study used the descriptive approach, and the study sample was (478) male and female teachers.

The study found that the level of emotional intelligence among high school principals in Gaza governorates reached (79.

80%) with a high degree, and the study also showed no statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample individuals 'estimates of the level of (self-awareness, emotion management and self-organization, social skills) for principals Secondary schools are attributable to sex variable, while differences were found between their averages of the level of "sympathy with others" in favor of males, as it was found that there were no differences in all areas of the resolution of emotional intelligence and its overall score is attributable to the variable of the educational qualification, while there were statistically significant differences attributable to the logic variable The educational level, where it was found that the principals of secondary schools in the east of Khan Yunis have a level of emotional intelligence lower than the principals of secondary schools from other educational areas, as it was found that the principals of secondary schools in the northern Gaza region have a level of emotional intelligence lower than the principals of secondary schools from the areas of Rafah and East Gaza.

The study recommended taking into consideration the level of emotional intelligence when selecting educational leaders, and holding workshops to raise the level of emotional intelligence among school principals.
