Women's literature is the gateway through which women came out of the harem era and embraced writing as well as freedom.

It was a refuge they resorted to allowing them to express themselves freely.

An area for revelations, especially fictional writing, which was and still is the most spacious arena capable of orbing what women store in memory by encapsulating cultural patterns that used to handcuff them and limit their freedom.

Fatima guddou, the critic, thrusts a whole new light on women ' status within society! Through her writings, she illuminates the dark aspects and exposes the patterns which are implicitely woven within every sentence in the Moroccan feminist narrative.
