The works of criminal experience is considered as a part primary investigation procedure in Islamic jurisprudence in addition to being a source of evidence collection.

Often judge relies on them in order to discover many facts that affects the courts judgements so it became a practice and found its way to Islamic judiciary.

It has many legal assets from Quran sunnah deeds of direct followers and common sense where many jurists mentioned many examples and applications such as measurements of wound and virginity examination and to determine murder weapon which is known as Forensic Medicine which includes stollen items indication of drunkenness items knowledge of criminal swearing and cursing.

The set for it conditions and controls that makes it a source of confidence and reliability to the judge.
