Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to determine levels of social skills for nurses in Tlemcen.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was used and using the social skills Scale developed by the researcher (2009), after checking its psychometric properties.

The sample of this study consists of 375 nurses chosen from the health sector and the hospital in the state of Tlemcen.

The results showed that the level of social skills of the nurses was above average.

It also showed that there is no difference between the sexes or in seniority years in the levels of social skills.

In light of these results, the researcher presented some suggestions and recommendations, among them the need to develop social skills through continuous training.
