This article aspires to take note of the art of irony and explain its employments within the art of flashing, specifically in the collection of “Zakhat horof” by Hegris rokia, in which she have drafted texts according to images and methods that differ from one text to another, and for various purposes including: enjoyment, and purifying the soul from feelings of fear, anxiety and pessimism… The storyteller in its flash collection sought to address the reality of life by resorting to mixing seriousness and humor in an approach issued by a tight technical vision and accurate perception.

We have endeavored to reveal the uniqueness of this employment and what it reflects by answering the following questions: How did the storyteller create texts and flashes by relying on this important element? How does this appear in her flashing texts aesthetically and attributely? How was this reflected in the photographic eloquence in her flash collection? We have depended on two approaches: the historical approach and analytical one
