Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to identify the level of elementary school teachers' Knowledge of thecharacteristics of giftedstudents with learning disabilities, And identify their attitudes toward teaching these students, and to know the effect of variables (specialization, number of years of experience, training courses, and scientific qualifications) on these knowledge and attitudes.

Also the aim of this study was to identify the relation between the teachers' knowledge of the characteristics of gifted students with learning disabilities and their attitudes towards their teaching.

The study sample consisted of (173) teachers randomly selected from elementary school teachers.

The study based on the descriptive approach.

The researchers used a two-dimensional questionnaire to measure the first dimension: Teachers' Knowledge of the characteristics of gifted students with learning disabilities, And measuring the second dimension: The attitudes of teachers towards the teaching of these students..The study results indicated that the elementary school teachers' Knowledge of the characteristics of gifted with learning disabilities was great degree.Moreover, the elementary school teachers’ attitudes toward teaching gifted students with learning disabilities was high degree.As well as the results of the study indicate that there are no statistically significant differences in the teachers' knowledge of the characteristics of gifted students with learning disabilities, and their attitudes towards teaching gifted with learning disabilities according to the of variables (specialization, number of years of experience, training courses, and scientific qualifications).Finally, study also found in the weak positive correlation between the teachers' knowledge of the characteristics of the gifted with learning disabilities and their attitudes towards their teaching
