Abstract EN

The aim of the researcher is to identify the reality of participatory leadership among the private secondary school leaders in Khamis Mushait governorate, from the point of view of the teachers.

The study society is one of the (193) secondary school teachers in Khamis Mushait Governorate.

The sample of the study was randomly selected.

The researcher has used the description approach where the questionnaire has designed by consisting of three main axes: (Human relations, Participate in decision-making, Delegation of authority).

There are a set of results , We mentied the most important of them: which is that the average availability of participatory leadership is (3.17) and It doesn't has researched enough.

In terms of human relations, the level of availability was moderate, and the axis of participation in decision-making was not sufficient, and the degree of availability was medium.

The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean.

The study ended with a number of recommendations and proposals, including: Holding training courses for the leaders of private high schools to identify the leadership patterns and how to apply the participatory style, and conducting studies on the management systems that used in schools and their suitability for the participatory leadership style.
