Abstract EN

Research aimed to recognize the training needs for secondary schools principals in Jeddah based on strategic administration requirements and recognize differences of statistical significance pursuant to variables ( experience, training courses).

In order to achieve study purposes, researcher has used descriptive method .

study sample is taken from all governmental secondary schools principals in Jeddah who are (101) principal.

Researcher prepared questionnaire consisting of (36) items distributed in three dimensions ( The stage of strategy formulation, the stage of strategy implementation, the stage of strategy evaluation), and the most important results for research were as follows: There is training need to apply strategy administration requirements significantly at secondary schools principals in Jeddah.

It's clarified that the skill of " appoint obvious standards to evaluate school strategy" from phrases after evaluation strategy , and this skill got first grade among all training requirements.

There is no differences of statistical signification at the level of significance ( α = 0.05) among averages of study society members responses about the need for training due to experience variable.

Research recommended as follows: review training programs presented to schools principals and its fitness to develop strategic administration skills , as some future studies have been proposed.
