Abstract EN

This research aims at revealing the reality of the integration of spelling skills in the Arabic language curriculum, from the point of view of educational supervisors, teachers and mothers of girls in primary schools for girls in Riyadh city.

The problem of research was determined by answering the following main question: What is the reality of the integration of spelling skills into the Arabic language curriculum? The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the research community may be educational supervisors, teachers and mothers of students in the primary stage in the second semester of the academic year 1439 e1440 e.

The research sample consisted of five educational supervisors, five teachers, and four mothers.

The researcher chose two supervisors, two teachers and two mothers to represent the survey sample and presented the interview in its initial form.

Based on the sample's answers, the interview questions were prepared in final form and were presented to the educational supervisors and teachers to verify the validity of the tool.

To ensure consistency, the interview was repeated after about two weeks and the same results were given.

This research has resulted in the low level of female students observed in spelling, after the integration of spelling skills in Arabic.

This led to the dispersion of the mind of the student because of the many skills required to study, and not focus on spelling skills.

A significant effect was found between the student's weakness in spelling and the low academic achievement in the rest of the subjects.

There was also a significant influence between the student's weakness in spelling and lack of self-confidence, hesitation and shyness.
