The present study investigates one of the most important human problems in the modern era, illegal immigration, in the whole world and in the Arab and African arena, in particular.

Various types of migration are ascribed to the large population overcrowding witnessed in the world in recent decades with a lack of resources.

The problem of illegal immigration, in terms of its concept, most important reasons and motivations are discussed.

A secret sample of immigrants was examined in terms of the most important elements of their demographic properties.

The geographic distribution of immigrants from all governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt was monitored through the western gateway to Libya or to southern European countries.

The field study identifies the most important roads, paths and footpaths taken by the immigrants to cross the Egyptian-Libyan border.

There is no doubt that each phenomenon has its advantages and disadvantages.

The researcher has been able to monitor the most important advantages of illegal immigration, as well as the most important dangers and problems faced by illegal immigrants during their dark journey in the barren desert.

The study area is the north-western range of the Egyptian-Libyan border; Salloum area of Matrouh Governorate.

The study included 20% of the volume of illegal immigrants, who reached more than 25 thousand immigrants as "Secret border infiltrator" in 2015.

The study concluded by proposing the most important mechanisms to address the problem of illegal immigration, and the most important ways to follow the scientific and sound confrontation of this phenomenon for maintain human spirits and achieving social justice.
